They are colored with plant extracts and do not stain or run. The basket is flexible and durable, woven from native grass. This basket works great for displaying! Break-in by stuffing with hot steamy towels. These are often shipped from Africa nested inside each other and get out of shape. To reshape, soak for a short time in a bathtub of lukewarm water and push into desired shape.
